Arrivals can be a busy and exciting time. To help you get settled quickly and confidently, this webpage provides all the information you need to navigate campus and locate the key services and facilities available during the arrivals period.

Use the details provided on this page to find important destinations such as Student ID card collection, key card collection, and other important check-in points around campus. We hope the information below will help make your arrival experience as smooth as possible.

Singleton Campus

Student ID Card Collection

All Swansea University students are issued with a Student ID card. Card collection on Singleton Campus is done from the Hwb front desk in the Digital Technium.

Your Student ID card allows you to swipe in to record your attendance at lectures, borrow items from the library and use their printers, access certain study rooms and labs, identify yourself at University exams, and obtain sports and student society memberships.

If you are a new student, you can collect your card after you have enrolled.

Key Card Collection

For those living on campus, you will need to collect your accommodation key card from Cefn Bryn Reception, located at the rear of Singleton Campus. Staff will be on hand to assist you with queries and questions. Please ensure you have booked an arrival time slot in advance.

Key collection is open from:

Wednesday 16^th to Sunday 20^th September, between 9am – 5pm

Outside of these hours, please visit Preseli Reception.

Your home away from home

Right to Study Registration

Register your non-UK/Irish passport and immigration documents, or provide your eVisa share code, in person with the VISA Compliance Team as soon as possible after arrival. You can then complete your enrolment online.

RTS registration will take in the Digital Technium Student Study Space. For directions to the study space, click here.

For appointments before 11th September, please book an appointment here.

Right to Study Registration

GP Registration

It's FREE to register with a local Doctor's Surgery and gives you access to see a General Practitioner (GP) when you are ill.

This means if you feel unwell or experience any mental, physical or sexual health issues while you are a student, you will be able to access local healthcare services.

During arrivals you can register with a local GP at a location we do not know yet

Welcome Talk

These Welcome Talks are a compulsory element of getting settled in to life at Swansea University. Here you'll learn all about staying safe on campus, get to grips with everything you need to know about living in our accommodation, and find out how to make the most of your time here in Swansea!

The talks will be held in Taliesin Theatre at:

September 17-19th: 10am

September 20th: 2pm

Travel Information

Fulton House is the main hub on Singleton Campus offering catering and retail outlets, Harbwr Fulton dining area, and of course JCs bar.

During Arrivals, you'll find a stall providing all the information you'll need for getting out and about in Swansea! From buses to bikes, we have you covered.

Student ID Card Collection

Accommodation Key Collection

For those living on campus, you will need to collect your accommodation key card. If you are travelling by car/van, you will be greeted upon arrival and should proceed along the road within the campus to the Key Collection Marquee.

Staff will be on hand to assist you with queries and questions. Please ensure you have booked an arrival time slot in advance.

Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th September, between 9am – 5pm
