If you are a current student and need support, please raise a request with Hwb via ServiceNow and a member of our team will respond within 3 working days.

You can also speak to us in person by visiting one of our Hwb information desks. We are open Monday to Friday between 8.30am-5pm at the following locations:

Ground floor of the Digital Technium, Singleton Park Campus

Contacting Hwb via ServiceNow

Current Students (including those who have been invited to enrol) should enter tickets onto ServiceNow if they would like Hwb’s assistance.

Make sure you are logged into Hwb and click Hwb on the banner to visit the team’s pages.
Via “Hwb Topic”, head to the Service Centre and click the Hwb button near to the middle of the page.
Once on the Hwb’s Topic Page, you will see a mix of information articles, along with request options. Using the “Search resources” tool, enter some keywords of your query. You may find a suggested article or request type.
Choose the request type that best fits your query. We have options for Course Queries, Finance Queries and more! If it doesn’t quite fit one of those query types, please use the General Hwb query option.
Click the chosen request type to be taken through to the form. Complete the form as fully as possible. Don’t forget to submit – it’s the lime green box on the right hand side!
Your query will then be reviewed by the Hwb team.
If your query can be answered by Hwb they will be in touch with you. If your query needs assistance from other University teams, Hwb will hand off the query to the appropriate team. You will be informed when this happens and who your query has been passed too.

Please note: We recognise our students as independent adults and need their consent to talk to anyone outside the university about them, including parents and guardians. Therefore we cannot confirm if someone is a student at the university, or their whereabouts, but we will follow up on any concerns raised.

Enquiries from third parties

Swansea University uses Hedd to administer all third party verification enquiries in regard to current and former students.

Hedd is UK Higher Education's official service for candidate verification and university authentication. It offers a centralised system for degree verification that connects employers, agencies, universities, embassies and councils.

You can verify a current or past student's place of study, the award and grade received and dates of attendance. Please note: the consent of the student must be obtained in order to use this service
