I study part time for my PhD and I work full time as an IT Service Desk manager in Newcastle. As much as I love learning new things, I love my two dogs Roxy and Luna the most and enjoy nothing more than taking them to our local beach and seeing them run around like mad.

MY CURRENT STUDIES...

I am fascinated by how humans understand the need for cyber security but in fact wish not to inconvenience themselves too much to reach a secure status. I see this behaviour in my workplace and chose to research it in an academic environment so I can develop my knowledge on the technologies and theories that underpin it. I chose to study at Swansea as my supervisors' research interests align with my own and most importantly everyone is really friendly! There's so many opportunities to attend remote development courses which suits my needs perfectly.

 BEING A SUBJECT REPRESENTATIVE

I am a distance student and often our voices are not heard since we don't have much on-campus presence. I hope to help change this.
