Welcome Week for January 2026 will take place from 19th-23rd January, with a range of events taking place each day. Effort should be made by you to attend all events listed within the below timetable.
Events are a chance to gain insight to your chosen degree programme, ask questions and get to know both staff and students in your department. We look forward to meeting you!

MSc Health Informatics Timetable
This timetable is relevant to those beginning MSc Health Informatics.
Monday 19th January 2026- Data Science building 9am
MSc Health Informatics welcome
The first module will commence on Monday 19th January 2026 and students will need to be present in the Data Science Building no later than 09:00hrs to start their studies and to be part of the Induction activities for the programme.
Friday 23rd January 2026
All Programmes Welcome - 2.00pm, B001 Engineering Central ( Bay Campus)
Meet your fellow cohort and other January programmes to learn more about how to make the most of your time at Swansea University. Guest speakers will include Discovery, The Student Union and GETACTIVE.
