Meet your Programme Director, who will introduce your programme of study, provide key academic information and direct you to course resources

2:00-4:00pm Department Induction Session Part 1 (Faraday Lecture Theatre, First Floor, Faraday Building)  **Compulsory**

In this session you will find out more information about your course and how you’ll study. You’ll start to get to know your coursemates and get settled into your learning community.

11:00am-12:00pm  Department Coffee and Biscuits (Taliesin Studio, Ground Floor, Taliesin Arts Centre)

An informal chance for students to pop in and meet teaching staff and other students in the Department over a hot drink and biscuits.

11:00am-2:00pm  Personal Tutor Meetings (Room 206, Second Floor, Keir Hardie Building) **Compulsory**

During this session, you will meet your Personal Tutor group for the first time! Your Personal Tutor will be in contact via email to let you know the specific time for your meeting.

Your Personal Tutor will be in touch arrange regular meetings throughout the year, and will be able to support you with a range of queries including; signposting to pastoral support, academic guidance, employability and more. You can find out who your tutor is and their contact details by logging into your individual Intranet page, under Course Details > Course Contacts.

10:00am-12:00pm  Department Induction Session Part 2 (Faraday Lecture Theatre, First Floor, Faraday Building) **Compulsory**

This session will follow on from Part I of your Induction, and provide an opportunity for you to ask questions and hear from senior students within the Department about what they wish they knew when they were in your shoes!
