Please find below important information about parking on campus during student arrivals/key collection and Freshers’ Week.
Arrivals Week – Wednesday 17 to Saturday 20 September
- From the evening of Tuesday 16 September, there will be no parking in the car parks to the north of campus (areas A & B in the plan below), which will be reserved for student drop-off only.
- Disabled badge/pass holders may still park in these areas.
- Our Security and Campus Response Team will be on site to manage access and keep traffic flowing.
- Other car parks on campus remain open.
- Parking at the Bay Campus will be as normal in the Bay Studios Car Park.
Freshers’ Week – Saturday 20 to Friday 26 September
Due to essential refurbishment works at Swansea Bay Sports Park, this year’s Freshers Week events will take place on Singleton Campus:
From 5pm Friday 12 September until Monday 29 September: the car park to the rear of the Taliesin Building will be closed (area C in the plan below).
- Wednesday 24 – Thursday 25 September: the car park to the rear of the Digital Technium will be closed.
- Monday 15 and Monday 29 September: access behind Union House will be restricted to contractors and deliveries for event set-up and take-down.
Alternative Travel Arrangements
Please note that overflow parking is available at the Recreation Ground. Where possible, staff are encouraged to walk, cycle, use public transport or car share.
