There will be an all student information fayre taking place on both of our campuses within the first two weeks of teaching. 

Connect with a wide range of support teams, academic departments, and external services all in one place! It will give you the chance to explore the support available to you as you settle into university life.

There will be free student arts & crafts, goodies to take away with you and even the opportunity to participate in Get Active activities.

The dates and locations are:

Bay Campus, Engineering North, Atrium

Thursday 2nd October 11.00am - 15.00pm - Bay Campus (building number 12 on the map)

Singleton Campus, The Taliesin

Tuesday 7th October - 11.00 - 15.00pm - Singleton Campus (building number 32 on the map)

Preparing yourself to study at university can be a daunting prospect. If you want to know more about what your next step will entail, the Centre for Academic Success is running a Welcome to Uni workshop to help you find out more about what to expect, and to talk you through some tips for approaching your learning. As well as evidence-based approaches to maximising study time and processes, it will also include perspectives from students and different departments across the institution.

Students are invited to this online event which will run on Zoom

Freshers is the ultimate kickoff to your university experience - packed with events, activities, and opportunities designed to welcome new students to Swansea. It’s your chance to dive headfirst into university life, make new friends, and explore everything your new home has to offer.

During Freshers, you'll find a mix of social events, from parties and themed nights out to fairs, sports taster sessions, and society meet-and-greets. Whether you're into clubbing, gaming, or just chilling with new people, there's something for everyone.

The annual Freshers Fayre will be making its return this year on the 24th and 25th of September📆🥳
